...when the magic was lost and you found out Santa wasn't real?

I must have been 7 or 8 and one of the last to know in my class. Fuck did I get the piss ripped out of me.

I can't actually remember, but yeah I was one of the last in my class too. I remember realizing that santa had the same hand writing as mum and that was when the magic didn't seem soo magic anymore

"thanks for bursting my bubble "

LOL this post should have spoiler tags.

I never really realised he wasn't real, although my older sister might have told me. I just seemed to grow out of it.

I used to think that it was a waste of time for my mum and dad to buy christmas pressies on the sly, then send them to santa, only for him to bring them back to our house

Oh! btw I was 25 before I found out there wasn't a santa, 25 years of sitting on strange mens knees

"when did we all become american its father christmas not santa "

It actually comes from old Dutch for St Nicholas.. Sint Nikolaas or Sinterklaas.

Maybe 7 or 8.

Was maybe 48 or so before the lyrics of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" sunk in.

I think you are all VERY wrong, Santa does exist and anybody casting aspersions or whatever else... wont get a present! You'll see...
