How important is the ‘lifestyle’ to you?

I was thinking about this earlier : straight choice between the option of going to a sex club and all those naked people or going to watch the football with some mates... football wins every time for me.

How important is the ‘scene’ to you?

Does it take up a lot of your social time, or is it just something you can easily dip into from time to time?

If swinging was suddenly turned off and no longer part of your sex life would you go cold turkey and have a huge void, or would it just be a case of ‘meh, all well, never mind..’?

I don't class myself as a swinger or being part of the lifestyle. However all the local people I know are swingers (I'm new to the area) so I tend to socialise with them and go to clubs with them. They are important to me as are other friends Ive made through here over the years.

We have always felt from the moment we entered into this lifestyle that we had to have interests and hobbies away from swinging.

We could honestly walk away from swinging tomorrow, we have had some great experiences and hope to make more but swinging is not the be all and end all.

What we would definitely miss are the friends we have made

Definitely not a lifestyle...I've always said that if I want to go socialising then I could do that at a gym,pub or work....I think a lot of people like making it a lifestyle because in there minds there part of something different which mainstream population don't know about...a bit like punks liking being part of something not in the mainstream....hope I've made sense lol.

I would pick the football with my pals or Mr over a meet every time

In the grand scale of things I would say it's about 1% of my time goes on concentrating on actual meeting. It's a nice 1% but in my life activities it's the bottom of the pecking order x

No TV, so this entertains me and I’ve made some fabulous friends off this site and had a bit of sexercise earlier..

But if something else came along I’d be ok I’ve had fun

I don't like football and I'm not really one for sex clubs so I guess I'll do nothing.

Like a poster above, the lifestyle isn't that important - the friendships and relationships I have formed from it are incredibly so.

I love the fun I get on here. Its a huge escape from my vanilla life. I love my family but I need this for me too x

It would probably stop me meeting men. I don't want a relationship, and if I meet men in the real world for casual sex, at some point some one would whisper to a mate that that woman over there..........

And I would acquire a reputation I would never lose.

The best discretion is when they'd be mortified if anyone found out they shagged me so they keep their gob shut.

I'm not that bothered about watching football...

And this isn't really a lifestyle, more just sharing time and experiences with those I may choose to share my time with....

But then I never quite got the hang of doing this the way others think I should....

I can take or leave 'the scene', and I have on a number of occasions...I'm not a swinger though so maybe I don't place as much importance on it as other people do...
