Right ladies and gents, i need to make a birthday cake. Need some inspirational and simple recipes.

Im torn between a plain victoria sponge with jam and buttercream or a chocolate cake.

Do you have any tips or idea's that would make a cake extra special

We used to get all ours done to order by a baker. We had all sorts, clowns, dinasaurs, rockets

Are there any other sites on the Internet, other than Fabs, that may just have a cake recipe? I'm naive so what do i know.

God, i couldn't mix, bake, wank and type all at the same time. It'd end up being messy.

Is it for a boy or girl I recommend Betty Crockers devil's chocolate cake with frosting and decorate as you please.

Try Greggs.... even if it's just an iced muffin with candles stuck in it. It will be another couple of years before she calls you a lazy bastard and cries at how you have ruined her life and made her look a div infront of her mates.

Instead of icing, I always cover the top of the cake with jizz.....uuuummmmm. Hope that helps me duck

Glitter!!! Pink glitter!!! I made a dora the explorer cake for a friends little girl and all she could go on about was the pink glitter! Obviously it was edible
