Time wasting?!

I have recently had to change my profile to say I'm not able to meet for 'fun' (medical reasons) it clearly states socials and chat only, and now I'm getting a barrage of abuse saying why not delete my profile if I'm not here for sex and being accused of being a time waster! Does leaving my profile open just to chat (for the time being) make me a time waster?

How can you be a time waster if you are meeting for social meets

Its up to you why you are here its not a sex site its a swinging site where like minded grown up adults can meet other people who share their interests

If and when you choose to meet with people for a play meet is your choice

Opinions are like arse holes and its human to have an opinion

Classy is knowing when to voice your opinion

Oh for the record OP id be more than happy to meet you for a social whether its a coffee or for a drink (just a shame your so far away)

I've always used the phrase timewaster for those who set up fake meets they have no intention of keeping or those who talk a good game just so they can get to see more pics for their wank bank.

Nobody should be told they shouldn't be here simply because they're temporarily unable to meet, especially if that is clearly on their profile!

I get this also and had to change my profile to the age range 99-99 because of the amount of shit I was getting for it.

You're definitely not a time waster, the site just has a lot of arseholes who think it's ok to be nasty xxx

There’s a lot of other members on here just to chat and meet for a social.

Others just assume this site is just about meeting up for sex.

At times I prefer just to chat or meet for a social.

I have not meeting at the moment and no one has questioned it. Occasionally I allow men to message me and one or two ask to talk until I'm ready to meet.

If you're getting so many it's becoming tiresome block them.

I would remove the bit you changed to say you're not meeting atm as that is what's annoying the trolls..

I too have had 2 comments in recent weeks as to why my profile was viewable.

I've been knocked for six with Flu, with which I have medical 'history'. IE, I cop it big time and some elements take months to clear up!

Thus, I put up the message of not presently meeting.

After all, even if I had the energy to meet, I was contagious with Flu for a few weeks till it settled down.

Plus, I was being responsible in not sharing my flu germs! But a few people did not see it that way!

Ahh, such is life!

No, you're not time wasting. My header for awhile was "not meeting due to injury". I got a lot of crap for that too, as if I were hurting them somehow by being online and not trying to meet.

As others have said, make liberal use of the block button.

There are plenty of people who have profiles on hook up sites and never do meets. Some use it for wank material but don't tell the people they chat to and just string them along.
