Are we too random?

Has the scene got too random?

Obviously there has to be a degree of randomness, that's the appeal of no strings, liberal, easy going fun.

I wonder though whether we have forgotten the fundmental essence of attraction. I guess most of us learnt to crawl before we walked, and discovered the finer pleasures of life in more structured conventional ways; an unplanned meet, followed by the chase - the amusing come ons and put offs, followed by bliss (occasionally, if you were lucky).

I guess it is a different ball game for couples with a different set of criteria.
