He’s leaving Radio 2 at the end of the year, at this rate all they’l Be left with is sh1t presenters! Just goes to show I guess, if it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it. Imposing Jo Whilley on him was a stupid and unnecessary action, and now the damage is done, she’s also ‘moving on’ to a late night program

Some presenters have chemistry together and others don’t work. I’m not sure of the story here to be honest (was she shoehorned in to join him?).

To be honest I last listened to Simon Mayo on Radio 1 years and years ago, but I didn’t mind him back in the day. Never heard the Radio 2 show though.

Any news yet on a replacement?

I used to love his show, and Jo whileys show at night, but... they just don't sound comfortable together at all.
