Sprouts , me it has to be fresh as frozen really are disgusting

I have a farmer friend who lets me cut my sprouts straight from his field, can't get fresher than that. However I am just as happy to eat frozen ones, I really don't taste too much difference, plus if I'm cooking daily for just two of us it's economical to have frozen veg rather than bags of fresh deteriorating in the fridge. xx
