Running in the lake district

We're staying in Windermere for a few days this weekend and would like to get a few runs in.

Can anyone recommend any good routes around the lake or close by?

A few miles away past Ambleside there’s White Moss Walks which is a nice walk / run through woods and to Rydal Water or Grasmere, run around Grasmere lake to the village and get yerself some Sarah Nelson gingerbread to boost yourself up for the run back.

One of my fave places in the world, have fun in the Lakes! Jealous!
