Would it get weird if...

You met a couple at a swingers party, got along and added them on fab. But then you encountered them, by complete chance, in your vanilla life on a semi-regular basis. They were really discreet about it but eventually you remembered why their face looked familiar. Would it be weird to contact them about playing together? Our gut feel is that they wouldn't want to. But there's something hot about the idea since we both already know each others secret.

We have some very good friends who we met through friends on here before they ventured into this crazy world, it fortunately worked out really well as we found out how much we enjoyed there company beforehand and how similar we were into pushing public decency haha

The issue may arise though if they don't share the same views as you in regards to what makes swinging "fun" go gentle would be my two pence.

Some people really do and for us personally we don't like that so much in a regular meet. We talk about our lives with meets. Kids/jobs/lives we can't/won't do the be a vamp for an evening thing we like to get to know peoples real personalities.

So dependent upon which "style" for want of a better word you swing it could potentially work really well.

It's perfectly possible to have two distinct relationships with the same people.

Thousands of men and women conduct illicit affairs with colleagues. They remain professional in their daily life and very, very sexual in their private lives. In fact we all manage to behave differently with our sexual partners publicly and privately, well mostly all.

So, yeah. I reckon it would work because you've already encountered each other in both situations.

The main problem I can see is if it goes wrong in the swingers area of your relationship the knock on effect into the social/professional area could be unpleasant.

It's happened! I attended a family friend's wedding last month and the seating plan put myself, my parents, and my brother-in-law at a table with some of the groom's work colleagues. You can imagine my sense of panic when a couple I'd met (but not played with) at a swingers party 2 years ago sat directly opposite me (beside my Dad). No, but the reverse happened for us, a sixty fifth birthday party among friends, some tipsy banter then wham!

We're invited to a swinging party by friends and the rest is history as the saying goes.
