"Awesome to see a lot of guys supporting their local teams like No matter how garbage they are?!? " I went about 4 seasons without missing a home game just before Sam Hamman turned up. Used to watch us play Exeter and Halifax etc. Now we are in the big time I haven't got the same buzz. Plus I loved our old stadium. Fottballs changed. Mostly for the good.

Not everyone even knows, let alone understands the sectarian elements of the support or that of Hibs and Herts.

"Celtic and Rangers here. There's something you don't see every day. You'd be surprised x Exactly!" Glasgow's a great city and I find the people very friendly. Even when I've been up on lads' trips, local lads have come over asking where we're from and we've chatted footy and stuff. You don't normally get that. It's just got that minority of bigots that just won't let the past go. You don't see decent everyday people holding as many banners up saying how decent and friendly they are, if you did the bigots' banners would disappear under a sea of common sense.

"My season ticket works out at about £17 per game. But I do object at some Championship clubs charging away fans the best part of £40! That's when it's time to start taking a flask of Bovril and a cheese & pickle sandwich for your half time refreshments! Seems alot for an away ticket. Saints froze theirs at 30 quid. " There’s an agreement in the Prem that away tickets should be capped at £30. We play QPR tonight. I think we should have changed things in the summer but there you are. Smithy will shake it up and we should at least play better football. Playoffs are possible if we tighten our defence but so many championship teams are so similar.

"Birmingham City I'll be there to see you go home empty handed, and we'll do you a favour by beating Villa at Pride Park the week after as well " I’m going down on the coach this time. Can’t be arsed paying £6 to park on the industrial estate and get trapped in traffic afterwards.

As I said earlier in the thread, Derby used to take more away fans than the home team had on occasion, but that was when football belonged to the people and not Corporate Businesses.

"Celtic I'm just back from Germany, Beaten soundly last night 2-0 could of been much worse. Cup semi final on Sunday so hopefully get back to winning ways , but have a huge injury list, I might get a game on Sunday " I knew it anyway but here ladies and gents is a proper fan and they are not the only one here. But without fans like this the game is fuck all really. Real dedication. A huge sacrifice in both time and money and even though you lost I'm sure if the bank account said 'yes' you'd do it again next week if needed/able. Your a credit to your team and have my upmost respect. Glad to hear your there and back safe and sound. Well done away fans, I salute you.

"Cardiff City fan. Enjoying the prem, missing the championship. I don't think we will stay up but as long as we don't gamble with big money I don't mind. Hope Warnock dosent get sacked. I didn't think he would get us promoted and I don't think he will keep us up but I hope we continue to try our hardest. That's good enough for me." ....I hope they stay up...I have known Joe Ralls since he was a kid...so always look out for their results.

I went to Paris for the PSG game last season, we scored after a minute then got beat 7-1 I think we annoyed them to be honest, It was like poking a Tiger with a stick
