At what age did you realise ‘I like fucking people this age’ ?

For example, I prefer men older than me (older than 30 really). I’ve always fancied older men, but I never gave it much thought (because I wasn’t in an open relationship or marriage) until I joined here. Now there’s a very small chance that I’d actually be attracted to someone under 30 (but it has happened occasionally)

So what age did you realise your preferences? Have they change much over the years?

I've never really had an age preference. I have generally tended to attract women older than myself though so I've been drawn more to older women as a result.

Since turning 30 though, I've attracted more younger women. Funny old world.

I think the first time I was with someone in their late-twenties cemented that as the lower limit. Obviously all people are different, but it's generally by then that folk have sussed themselves out enough to give their best to others.

I don’t have hard and fast rules on age. But historically I have tended to be meet women plus of minus ten years of my age.

While I find some much younger women physically attractive, I think I’d have less in common. And once it gets close to the age of my daughter it gets too weird for me.

At the age of 42. I had had a few men older than me and wasn't feeling sexy or comfortable with them, then a 22 year old started chatting to me on a Facebook app.

It was general chit chat, nothing sexual, and we got on very well.

After about 6 months he said he would like to meet me. I was taken aback and apprehensive but agreed and when he returned from Europe we met, and that was the beginning of two years of him showing me how good sex can be.

Since then, I still find I feel more comfortable with younger men, although, as I get older so do they.

When I was younger I much preferred older women, me 20 them 30+. Then the age gap sort of closed as I hit 30/40. Now it's going the other way, as I got past 40 I started to prefer younger women than me, a lot younger.

Apparently the French are like it, young women prefering older men with more worldly experience and the mature ladies prefering younger men....... guess you don't have to be a phycologist to work out why!

Couldn't really put a year on it, but I guess somewhere in my 30s I realised I preferred younger men and hadn't been with an older man or even one my own age in about 10 years. I think I shocked a lot of Fab friends earlier this year when I met someone my own age (some even stopped speaking to be because of the whole 'well why make an exception for him and not me' thing). Most of my partners have been 5-12 years younger (long term fwb is 7 years younger). The fanny wants what the fanny wants

I don't have particular preferences, though in the past I've tended to stick to people close to my own age.

This year I've had some great times with older women. I think as you get into your 30s, age becomes less of a factor

Ages irrelevant to me. I seem to attract woman older to myself.

I look for someone that stimulates me mentally (this is rarely anyone younger).

Physically What i look for is good teeth, good hair and someone that looks after themselves regularly works out and takes pride in their appearance

Age doesnt come into it as such although older women are typically better lovers & more passionate.

I never really think about it til after the event.

I only realise they're in their 20s or their 50s later.

I have always been attracted to women of my own age (or thereabouts). When I was 18 I liked women in their late teens or early twenties. The same all the way through my life. When I was 30, I fancied and shagged women in their late 20s and early 30s. Now at the half century... the women I fancy are still just above or below my age.

The only exception I can think of is a short-lived summer fling with a 19 year-old when I was 27. I noticed the age/experience gulf very quickly.

Now the tricky part is how does a guy in his early 30’s meet the more mature lady?... it’s not that easy?... It’s not gonna happen on nights out with the boys or during Leeds Festival weekend?... How rude of her. I've experienced that myself though mate tbh. Phones are so antisocial especially when there's just 2 of you... And dinner to. Same age mate pretty much so yeah it would be quite hard. Plus everyday life gets in the way its even harder.

I’ve been with guys my own age, but I find I’m more critical when it comes to them.

For me I prefer older men 35+, and find a lot who are younger than that are still in “little boy” mentality and their immaturity tends to show up quite quickly, that’s when I lose interest.

The sweet spot would be between 35 and 48 I think. I’m the kinda girl who is eyeing up the Dad whilst the son is eyeing up me, haha!

Honestly fella it’ll change your whole outlook!... the last year I dated a woman in her 20’s on and off for about 6 months and she was completely fixated with her phone, like even out to dinner etc (I do also realise this could be just the person and nothin to do with age at all)... but it just got to a point I needed somethin else?... Now the tricky part is how does a guy in his early 30’s meet the more mature lady?... it’s not that easy?... It’s not gonna happen on nights out with the boys or during Leeds Festival weekend?... So decided to explore other routes and experience a few different things...

I’m into gigs and festivals and exactly where I tend to meet guys that are younger than me. Don’t rule out places like that.

We’re usually more into the European festivals, “Rock Werchter” and “Pukkelpop” etc... Do Leeds every year, did get offered Creamfields but didn’t really fancy it?!...

... it’s funny you say that, every time I’ve pulled at a festival it’s been someone younger ... maybe my game just isn’t that strong? lol

We tend to look at ages more closer to ours for common ground.. but more often we end up with much older. Just depends on attraction.

Since I first started dating I liked men my own age, by the time I was 26 they were always younger, this site is great for meetings with whoever your fancy, so for me, with no exceptions always younger or a lot younger, I like my men young and bouncy and most have been really good sexually

Since quite young I’d say I’ve known that I prefer those older me. Just seem to get along better and click more. I’m still yet to meet someone around my age off this site.

Since I’ve been 19 I think I’ve been with older women. Used to meet a few regularly who were in the early to late thirties. Age wasn’t a factor to us and we had an amazing time.

I’m coming up to nearly bloody 30 and I’m still in touch with them alll.

My first real big relationship was with a guy who was 11 years older than me when I was 18. I was initially drawn to older men as I think a lot of younger woman are.

Now tipping 50 I find not many men my own age meet the standards and requirements I set for myself.

I’m also quite feisty and rather dominant in nature, ah fuck it, sexually as well and that’s often not compatible with older guys even in the one off kind of set ups that I pursue in my single outings

I have always tended to hover around my own age group, although when I was 21 I had a 31 year old girlfriend for a year. A wise friend once told me that the only thing about getting older was that you fancy a wider age range of women..true, I find.

I have always liked younger men but my husband is older so i thought i prefered older about 15 years ago when i started to meet other older men as well as younger i realised i prefered younger men, not all young men though of course.
