I’m a little curious about the club scene with regards to this lifestyle and have read many threads about them in the past.

My reluctance to attend however is brought about by simply not being able to dispel the perception of seediness surrounding them. I really struggle with it.

Does anyone else feel this way about them?

Regular club attendees, please don’t be offended. I know how easily some people get upset on these forums from the slightest sleight / opinion about something and the thread descends into an argument. I respect and have met people who attend.

I guess it depends what you class as "seedy" OP?

Two of the best clubs I've been to (VA and Mingles) are anything but seedy, and in fact are very classy, clean and well run and put a lot of effort into creating a heady and sexy atmosphere.

Now there are *some* customers of those clubs that could be described as seedy themselves, but that's a reflection on the person not the clubs, and they're usually easily dealt with if they overstep any marks.

I should add that those customers that could be described as seedy are the exception rather than the rule and not an ever present thing on every night

I have only attended one club...... I was of the same opinion as yourself OP but oh how wrong was I. Mingles in Colchester is just amazing. The hosts go to so many lengths to make it anything but seedy. The venue is classy...... intimate..... fab facilities. The people attending the night I went were respectful fun loving and as sexy as hell. It completely turned my opinion on its head. I think you just need to go and make up your own mind.

Interesting... I think you may well be right. There is only one way to find out isn't there.

I will have to find a lady who is open to attending with a newbie like myself.

I've been to a few clubs now and have never found them seedy.

I've found them relaxed and welcoming, and with no pressure on anyone.

All the clubs I've been to, the playrooms are away from the social area so if it's not for you it's not being forced into your face. When you feel more comfortable then you can go for a wander and see what's going on.

If you're into more one on one most clubs have private rooms, so you still get the atmosphere without having to feel like you're performing if that's not your thing.

Most people find clubs aren't what they've imagined them to be once they get there.

If you don't like it, at least you've tried and know for sure it's not for you.

We were the same before we actually went to a club, having remembered stories in the News of the world. But when we actually went to chams it totally dispelled the fears we'd had and we absolutely love the club.

. Seedy i think was a word you used?. Never felt like that ever and i've been attending clubs for over 5 years now. What's your idea on private parties?. Lexi
