Radio chat show again MR J Vine,

Initially talking about " erectile dysfunction in young men"

Some how morphed into men watching porn online...

This and how many relation break ups this can cause....

Yes its addictive to some guys...

Some men find it hard to get arroused with normal sex...one guy admitting he has been addicted since he was 11 yrs old ..!!! Now 32...??? Christ..

Though I did find it a little one sided ,and generally running down guys. Us fellas can not help the way our brains are wired nor how we interpret things.

Failed to address that women/ girls equally watch porn...

They cited that its the moving pictures thats addictive and easy accessibility...

That is the problem with women and they would OK with guys with girly xxx magazines ....

But I,m of the generation that existed b4 the internet and computer s . Magazines were all that was available to guys....and were lambasted if found viewing them...

Views please...

I watched a documentary on Netflix, it was a series on many different subjects but one was about boys going to boot camp because they were addicted to porn. One guy, who had been watching since he was 9, was 18. The longest he went without porn was 6 days (after boot camp). Terrible. He said he couldn’t look at women and knew that one day even extreme porn wouldn’t be enough

Another consideration could be..

Despite all the the efforts for equality, domestication of the human male...

He cannot help that primal need to be the alpha in a unit...

Online porn is one of a few ways in which this feeling is fed,cos he is in control. Even if it is purely fantasy....

Hope I make sense with above..

I watched a documentary (a different one to Queen L I think) that's put me off porn ever since. Not only was it looking at porn addicts but it also went into a lot of detail about how much people are exploited in the business. Grim.

I think it's more that heterosexuality has been promoted in society and that the sexualisation of women has also been promoted. Add to that that sex is mostly fantasy based in porn and porn can become a pleasurable escape for many and i can understand why people become addicted.

All addictions are forms of escape from the reality of life. As a recovering sex addict myself i know that i was using sex to feel feelings that my real life wasn't giving me, and to avoid the feelings that i actually had.
