The worst movie I have ever seen by a considerable distance is Mama Mia 2 - Here We Go Again.

I quite enjoyed parts of it and I had a lump in my throat at the end, but by god it was terrible.

Anything on Horror (Freeview ch. 70) on a weekday afternoon. They're appalling but compellingly so.

Witchslayer Gretl was one truly crap offering last week, although it couldn't compare to the genius of Arachnoquake.

Happy Feet or Brother Bear. Piles of sanctimonious bullcrap.

Unless we are talking actual films, not animation. In which case, I'll go with Magic Mike, even a half naked Channing Tatum couldn't persuade me to leave it on for longer than 20 minutes. Oh, and Buried. The only Ryan Reynolds film I've been unable to finish.

Yes Costner has done some bloody awful ones.

Probably Waterworld would be my worst box office movie, but in the early 80's there was some real crap churned out for the new home video market.

Anything produced by Golan Globus would have to be in the mix.

Can I also add the illustrious shite that is Street Fighter and The Crow: Wicked Prayer to the fire, um list?

The former needs no explanation other than it was an embarrassment for all involved (especially poor Raul Julia. Hell, even Van Damme!)

The latter - an utterly disgraceful display of overacting (Dennis Hopper) combined with utter non acting (Edward Furlong, David Boreanz and Tara Reid) an absolute insult to the series (it served to effectively kill it off) and the audience alike. Truly awful on every level.

Manos:The Hands Of Fate.

I heard it was bad as it frequently makes the, ‘Worst Films Ever Made’ lists but I thought it might at least be bad in the sort of ‘So bad it’s good’ manner ala Godfrey Ho’s numerous Ninja flicks from the eighties.

Nope.....it was no to be sadly, rather it was purely terrible in a, ‘Holy shit, this is interminably awful!’ sort of way.

Plymouth OYO Hotel

FIRST Action Hero!

I bought this DVD in 2004 at an M4 services, thinking it had something to do with the Arnold Schwarzenegger film - especially since the tagline said "First there was the last, now there is the first".

Now I wasn't expecting much at all but I was disappointed to say the least to get nothing but an extremely generic homemade looking movie about a cop investigating some local gangsters and having a shootout.

Aside from being the most boring film I've ever watched, it had nothing whatsoever to do with the Arnold film. What a Swizz! Yet it apparently has a bit of a cult following. That doesn't compute

Hollow Man, with Kevin Bacon. Particularly the ending, in which the plot holes just keep coming, even allowing for a little suspension of disbelief.

Amen regarding Highlander 2; Totally awful!

In fact so bad that there was a re-edit released some years after the initial release called the ‘Renegade version’ which tried to repair the damage by omitting all references to the Immortals being an alien race. Mind you, it was still crap.

Talking of Highlander and crap though, Highlander: The Source is bad enough to give Highlander 2 a run for its money.....almost
