The doctor thinks its the tendons,I haven't a clue what I've done with it. It's painful when I raise my arm,it doesn't seem to be getting better. The doctor gave me some tablets to help me sleep, but along with the cocodemal I lost a flipping weekend in sleep so scrapped them.

Ouch! Not frozen shoulder is it? I had a bit of 'jivers shoulder' at one time and was worried that it would stop me taking up swimming - but the swimming cured it.

I'm not sure what a frozen shoulder is to be honest,it's just under the top of the shoulder. I have numbness and slight pins and needles in my hand.

Physio or a chiropractor. It’s not major

Yes, I was getting that with mine occasionally, something swelling and impinging on a nerve I guess. Try swimming - half an hour of gentle movement might do it the world of good.

Musculo-skeletal problems in the over 50's are a friggin' nightmare to get a diagnosis - if they con't know or don't want to spend the money they just say 'Oh it's to be expected at your age....'. Buit unless you get some kind of diagnosis you don't know how to manage and fix it.
