I can’t sleep, so… Something’s been on on my mind recently.

I’ve always considered myself bisexual because I’m comfortable having sex with men, but the thing is I’ve never been attracted to them. I find some men attractive. Handsome, funny, charming, a nice toned body, these are all things that, as a woman, I appreciate. But I’m not attracted to them and never have been.

I’ve always been attracted to women. I was straight until my late thirties, but I’ve been attracted to women for as long as I can remember. I was never comfortable having sex with them, but now that I am older and more comfortable in my own skin I can’t get enough of women.

I’ve thought about changing my profile to say ‘Gay’, but for some reason it doesn’t feel right. I always thought gay people were turned off by the opposite sex. But I’m not turned off by men, and it is possible I may touch a willy again one day. I’m just not attracted to men and I don’t think that will ever change.

Gay? Bi? Does it really even matter?

Does anybody else question their own sexuality on any way?

Hi

As a TV, it’s a constant question I ask myself, and have hated my situation.

Now I’ve come to accept it probably taking it too far now, but your not alone in being confused. Having being there, just go with what you feel happy with.

I think maybe we're all on a spectrum instead of the pigeon holes society decides. Straight/bi/gay categories are just societal constructs for who you're most inclined to be with, but I don't think you need to always rule whole genders out. If you only want men, great; if you only women, great; if you only want people you fancy or connect with regardless of gender, also great. Suit yourself OP, life's too short !

I’m a guy who is comfortable having sex with guys but at the same time I don’t fancy any guys, as you said I can appreciate a guy who is good looking and has a nice body etc but I have never thought about a guy the same as I would a woman

Who care OP? Do what works for you. I used to identify as bisexual then realised I fancy CD/TV and trans people too so by definition, pansexual.

While in a six years in a relationship with a woman, still pansexual.

But hey, labels are for jam jars

100% labels are for Jam jars. We dont often neatly fit into boxes. But many people do tend to cram them self in or let others push them in. Enjoy who ever takes your fancy, be yourself and enjoy life.

Personally I'm more attracted to men, when I was younger I was always one of those with lots female friends but very rarely had a girlfriend. I'd had a few encounters with guys of my age but didn't have sex with a female until I was 22 and that was as a threesome with a mate, bit of a disaster really. I guess if I was to label myself I'd say more gay than straight

This is kinda me

I haven't been to bed with a woman in nearly six years

I find women attractive

I find some men more attractive

I've had both straight and gay relationships

I would never rule out sleeping with a woman again

It just isn't a priority right now

Late nights are bastards for wandering thoughts

It's morning now

Just get up and get back to being you and living life without the need for the pigeon hole

I think sexuality can change over time, as you learn more about yourself. One day I want chocolate and another day I want chips.

You fuck who you fancy you have real relationships with people you click with.

................................... or stalk you into submission then you realise you quite like it.

Gender has very little to do with it.

I think some die hard straight guys would have better relationships with guys, who like football, they can suck dick and take it up the ass.

And no need for girly wine or tidying up

I've kind of done the opposite to you. When I was younger It was always girls that interested me, I had boyfriends because I thought that was the norm but all my first sexual experiences were with girls. As I've got older I'm becoming more straight. Im still attracted to woman but there is only a few that really float my boat. I'm so picky when it comes to woman that I want to actually play with.

your imagination

I can identify in a similar but different way OP. I love men. Masculine men. Everything about them just makes me go 'Oooooft' and titillates my tuppence... I admire women and appreciate the beauty of their form, their delicacy and grace, but am extremely rarely sexually attracted to one, and have in fact only ever had sex with one woman.

So most of the time I'm straight as an arrow, but can't say that I won't ever meet a woman whom I just want to melt into ever again... I'm no fortune-teller

I list myself as bi-curious, simply because I'm neither fully straight nor fully bisexual... But I'm not really curious either... I don't want to be intimate with a woman (or a man for that matter) simply out of curiosity or to tick things off a list... I'm intimate with people I'm wildly attracted to (mildly doesn't do it for me lol).

In this world of labels is there a label for people like us OP?

Answers on a napkin (wrapped around a bacon butty) please

This is an interesting thread, people like to put sexuality in little boxes. But it sounds like everybody’s is different and unique in some way.

Yes, I am right now! I was a lesbian until my early twenties, then I was bi or pan or whatever the fuck it was and enjoyed different people but now it's rare I find a woman attractive in more than a fleeting ooft way, I don't know if I'm straight or just straight presenting or have an ever changing fluid sexuality? I'm trying to enjoy it for whatever it is in the moment and not question it too hard.

On Fab you can be who you want. Why not be gay for a while? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't make you any less attractive a proposition to a man. Indeed you may find guys quite turned on by it if you ever fancy meeting one. Plus, it may help clue them in on how best to interact with you.

I'm curious though... could you see yourself being more attracted to a more effeminate and sensitive man? I guess what I'm wondering is how deep this goes. Is it that you really aren't into the whole cock thing... or is it just that you don't get the whole big buff macho monosyllabic football fan thing but you might quite like a fuck with a guy who wasn't those things?

I consider myself a fluid bi person. I sway heavily towards gay but there's the odd man that does it for me. But I'm not as likely to be attracted to men as I am to women. My sexual attraction changes though. Sometimes I feel totally gay and just can't bare the though of men and other times I think they are great and super attractive. I spent ages thinking about whether I was bi or not but I realised there is no right way to be bi. It doesn't have to be 50/50, 60/40, even 90/10. It's whatever is right for you. You are the only person who can define you.

Why label yourself. This is why fab us great you don't need to. I (Mrs) when younger always fantasized and wanted to be with a girl my first sexual experience was with a girl and it was great fun. I am more attracted to men and know in my vanilla life all relationships will be with a man hopefully that remains my husband. We have played with couples and the girl on girl was fun but nothing compared to how it is when we have a mmf. But those fantasies still remain in my head and I wouldn't ever rule out playing with another woman. I don't class myself as bi sexual or curious but not 100% straight just me. I have put straight down as you have to choose one and we only want to attract men at the moment so it was logical choice

"I think this site can put people off cocks for life."

Accurate.

"On Fab you can be who you want. Why not be gay for a while?"

I’m not sure it matters. Most men don’t read profiles anyway, nor do a lot of couples. I could put down that I’m a celibate nun and I’d still get hit on.

"I'm curious though... could you see yourself being more attracted to a more effeminate and sensitive man? I guess what I'm wondering is how deep this goes."

It goes deep. No attraction to men period. I guess it’s more of an occasional attraction to sex with men.

Follow up question - Does anybody ever feel a sense of guilt for their sexuality? Weirdly I feel guilty whenever I consider having sex with a man. But with women I feel no guilt at all.

We're thinking of becoming straight. On balance, we'd rather play with a straight couple than a couple where only the female was bi. I feel like putting bisexual on our profile is limiting us more than it helps.
