Wouldn't have minded if I'd done something wrong and had been sat down and told face to face but a txt message from the boss? " I’m a great believer in Karma and I really hope it hits hard. Hubs was out of work for 8 months and it really affected him/us. As another poster said it’s lifes way of showing you new opportunities... Hubs has a fantastic new job now and we are moving to pastures new. Sending hugs in the meantime though... | |||

Bosses friend started with us a few months ago and was assigned to work with me. I was told to treat him like anyone else no free ride, which I did. Last month he asked me if I'd be interested in doing some fiddle work using company materials which I declined as its not on, shortly after his and the bosses attitude changed towards me and today I got the text.... | |||

In the long term this may turn out to be a bullet dodged - alkthough something you may only come to appreciate fully some time down the road. As others have said, try to steer away from bitterness and resentment or it will only eat you up. Which means it's only you and those closest to you that will suffer. | |||
