Those who have a fresh towel after every shower, why? I’m genuinely interested.

There’s a huge amount of unnecessary energy usage on this thread!

You must spend all your time washing, drying, sorting and storing.

Hair died red. It never stops seeping onto the towels

That’s not a dirty towel though, just a wet patchy red one.

I wrap my crusty old telling dressing gown around me to run upstairs to my room and air dry.

My hair towel I wash once a week, if I've used it. My son's towels I wash after I've done the sniff test.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Everything weekly.

I must be showering differently to some of you - I get clean in the shower, then dry using a towel.

Oh come on... I change my bedding between 5 and 7 days use, not home all the time so that may take a month or so. But I have never ironed a bed sheet or towel in my life

Towels dry tumbled or on heated towel rails just the same as washed and dried ones though to be fair a washed towel takes longer to dry than one used to dry a body.

I am a heathen then I just wash the fitted sheets on number 5, cos I learned number 5 was the right setting to slightly shrink them. Then when dry stretch them back over the mattress and that pulls them flat, while I fight with the duvet and it's cover.

Got a cupboard somewhere full of towels, but I just use the same 2 all the time. Guest ones get washed and put back in the spare rooms, when they become garage towels then I will have to find the cupboard...

By the time I'm dirty enough for a further shower, the towel has dried.

I don't just leave it on the bed to rot between uses, thank you!

Bed every other week, towels randomly, not a set time. Why on earth are people washing their towels daily, it's just wet, not dirty. Dry yourself and throw it over a radiator

Bed linen fortnightly, more frequent during a hot summer. Towels about the same with exception of hand towels which I change a few times a week.

Hand towels, twice a week. Bath towels we use twice then the next ones are used. Bed sheets on average every five days, the white set gets changed more frequent, it's not put on often.

So you shower, dry your clean body with a towel, leave towel somewhere to stay slightly damp, to be washed and then put on the jeans you wore yesterday?

Ben linen every 2-3 weeks unless we've had company. Spare bed linen after every guest.

Towels when I think they need it. Hand towels weekly.

On the other hand dishcloths and tea towels are after a day or two use.
