Hull

Hi everyone!

Just when you thought you'd got rid of me, I'm back.

It's been a problematical 4 weeks, moving down from Hull. The company provided accommodation isn't the best. The job is still a tad new, with lots of "political" hurdles to deal with daily, and as my new boss put it to me recently, 'you were really dumped in here at the deep end and at the moment, you are swimming well!'

But it is work, which is good these days and it makes a change from being on benefits. However, my recruitment contacts are working discreetly on my behalf already.

And in the meantime, I'm seeking anyone from the Slough/Burnham/Maidenhead and surrounding areas.

Hope you are all well and have been behaving disgracefully in my absence.

Is there any news I should know, so I can catch up?

Recruitment consultants aren't always that discrete. Particularly if the industry you work in is comparitively small and you are using specialists agencies.

Then again, they are probably more discrete than a public forum...

I'd give the job more time and remember that if your new bosses get wind that you are looking after a matter of weeks you will be unemployed and homeless.

Good to hear from you again, and glad it's going ok.

I'm just about to start the last two weeks of my three month trial, and as yet, I haven't heard whether or not I'm being kept on.

Hang on in there mate, and I hope it works out for you
