Rather than I suggest different drinks and you say 'no' a drink is probably the best bet.

If not chewing gum or a mint should produce saliva failing that, stick an ice cube in your mouth but have a freshly boiled kettle incase you swallow it.

And course, watch those sensitive teeth. You wouldn't want to accidentally headbutt her.
