Times to peek at a profile?

Would anyone be put off if they noticed someone looking numerous times? (Asking for a friend, as it seems to be the theme of today)

Doesnt really bother us how many times people look. I have lost count of the amount of times ive clicked on a profile without realising i have looked before, especially on the ones that havent got profile pictures up. That and having 2 people on a profile any interesting ones are going to get looked at multiple times to show each other.

Stealth mode. Not because I look at profiles repeatedly, I've got a pretty sharp memory, so I rarely have to read one more than once, but because before I discovered stealth mode I found that if I checked someone's profile, they'd take it as a sign that I was interested and start mailing, or if they couldn't mail, would put up cringeworthy status messages along the lines of 'caught you looking. don't be shy PlayD8. I won't bite unless you ask me to'. That and guys in chatrooms who announce to the world that you've checked their profile used to really put me off.

No one has ever complained about me. Several profiles I price ably view multiple times a week because they have great pictures.

Doesn't bother me how many times someone looks at me. I have a few non forum users who view me daily but never message, fine by me.
