It's a French word so I pronounce it how the French do: kwa soh, with the emphasis on the kwa.

It's a wierd one, I heard it said in a cooking programme thankfully

Hyperbole unfortunately was used quite a lot before I realised it was pronounced

If you're ok with the texture you can make it taste nice with spices, herbs and vegetables.

It's expensive for what it is though and bulgur wheat is similar.

Less is more with keenwa. Make the veg the main art of the dish. Also stops you tasting any bitterness.
