Think you might struggle to get something like that going as a lot of people may think you have an ulterior motive.

There's plenty you could do though - there seem to be no end of runs of various distances for example, or all kinds of other things - why not check out the Help For Heroes website to see if they have any organised events requiring sponsorship that you could take part in?

Or you could do something like a cake sale at work, or organise car washing with some mates with all proceeds going to the charity - the only limit to what you could do is your imagination

To be honest, you’re leaving it a bit late if you’re thinking of a calendar. By the time you’ve found your subjects, agreed a date everyone can make, done the photography, processed the images, arranged a printer for the calendars, got them printed and returned, distributed/sold them it’s going to be weeks if not months. Ideally you need to aim to sell them by November in time for Christmas to maximise profits for HfH. Also consider getting sponsorship... cuts down on costs/maximises profits.

Go to the H4H website, register your interest in becoming a fund raiser.

There's lots of options suggestions on there.

They'll also provide you with official kit, badges, bands, stickers, collecting tins etc to prove you're a genuine supporter.

I run a 'pop up shop' twice a year selling merchandise, my local supermarket let's me set up outside.

I'll be outside there again soon on poppy duty for the RBL.

One major problem with h4h, if you were wounded before 9/11 they won't help you. I fully support the RBL, and will again this year put my blazer, beret, tie and medals on and sell poppies. The legion support vetrens and families of all wars. But noble gesture op wish you luck.

I usually go for my own regiments association or the RBL there are too many fake and disreputable forces charities.

A few have been exposed on Aarse and by other Walt hunters.

OP why not contact h4h and ask them if you can become an official fundraiser?

A couple of friends of mine do this and run pop up stalls regularly in our area.
