This was done a year or so ago,but thought I'd give it another try.

What's your favourite sound or sounds ?

Mine would be

Hearing an owl tooting in the woods by where I live.

The dawn chorus early on a spring morning.

Sheep bleating on a summers day in the country side.

The sound of a boiling kettle & ratteling tea cups when I'm in need of a cupa.

Both storm related, the wind blowing through the trees as as storm starts to brew,and again the sound of the sea and the crashing waves in the same scenario!

The Vulcan bomber did a display over the airfield where I work a few months before it was grounded. Awsome relic of the cold war with a unique howl

Every now and again (usually after a few drinks ) I build a den. I get the cushions from the sofa, my duvet as the roof, a sleeping bag and I put thunderstorm sounds on my speakers and fall asleep to it...perfect.

Definitely the howl of a Vulcan bomber although the sound rain against a window has a certain place in my heart.
