I've just heard on the news that we are going to spend £1.5m a minute in the shops today. K has just gone shopping, I just hope she realises I don't have that much credit on my cards

ohh I forgot the shops will be closed for a day and we must stock up for the seige! What did we do in the old days before sunday opening and the majority of shops closed for half a day during the week too!

but they will need to buy 54 loaves and 234 litres of milk...

a family of 6 eat a lot of turkey sandwiches and drink gallons of tea.
