So - sat waiting on the Seetickets page that wouldn't open for 45 mins and now it's finally loaded and showing as all sold out.

Hmmm, may try later as apparently they release a few more batches during the day.

Otherwise saved £500 on tickets and all the rest - will spend on swinging instead!

My two children both got them hoorah.

Not heard of any more batches being released during the day.

There is just the day when duplicates are returned and resold.

I’ve been to Glastonbury a few times. I wouldn’t describe it as ‘living in filth’ though. Have been in when it was muddy, including one of the infamous ones, 2007 maybe. Sure, it’s muddy, and not ideal, but it’s not filth. As long as you go without being precious about stuff, and go with the flow, it’s one of the best weekends you can have.

There are no tips, it's just pure pot luck! The only way you increase your chances is by joining up with other people, but one of you still has to be lucky enough to get through to the processing screen.

2016 was fairly brutal...took us 15 hours to get there. 3 hours to get from Leicester to 10 miles from Glastonbury, 12 hours to do the rest! The mud was vicious.

We got talking to a guy that was managing a band from Mumbai...it only took him 9 hours from India.

Ah, 2016 wasn’t that bad. There was quite a bit of mud, but it didn’t rain as much during the weekend as some years. The worst thing is it just takes you at least twice as long to get anywhere. And you can’t really sit down anywhere, so it does take it out of you a bit more.

I wouldn’t say rubbish strewn everywhere - it’s mostly just paper cups and and food packaging in the crowd areas in front of the main stages. And by the end of the weekend some people have a bitnif rubbish around their tents. But hardly living in filth still.

I’m so excited. I’ve not been since 2014. Nearly peed myself when I realised I was through to the booking system.

Just me and my daughter going this year.

I’m staying in the tangerine fields site. It’s my daughter’s first glasto and I thought it might be a bit less stressy than finding the right place to camp for a kid. When it’s just me I don’t care.

It’s mostly just stuff left at the end, which I agree is awful. But my experience of going, and camping where I have, I could never describe the time at the _estival as ‘living in filth’.

It’s like me seeing a load of rubbish outside your neighbours house, and thinking that you lived in filth.

Glasto is quite possibly the greatest _estival of all and the inspiration behind many other.

I've been going since 1997, been a punter in tragic conditions, worked it in some of the worst weather i've ever seen and I still love it.

I've played about 8 times and I will be next year

Bring it on

Once you're through to the booking page, you simply enter your postcode and registration number along with up to 5 others.

Piece of cake really - the tricky part is actually getting on the aforementioned booking page.

Maybe for you , we go to Glastonbury and have done the past 4 years for us it not a music _estival but as it says on the poster “_estival of contemporary performing arts” which includes a wide variety of arts from music , stage performance, comedy through to the healing fields where the art of massage , reflexology , reiki and medadation is performed for us this would not be available in such diversity at other _estivals. Is Glastonbury better than all others no. But it works for us.

After the disappointment of not being lucky enough to get tickets we had some good news today . Our back up plan of working for the _estival and being a guide on the perimeter has just been confirmed

So that means we have to work three 8 hour shifts between the Tuesday and Monday which will be well worth it .

Also we get a spare ticket for a friend each as well that can do same.

Nope. Don’t get mine until the coach trip. Just adds to the excruciating fear that it might not happen

Manning gates....? Any decent wristbands you can get your hands on?

I have EPO but always keen for more.

Return the favour with partying with you all!

I think it’s up in the Green Fields somewhere. Have a great time - missing out again, so not been since 2016.

You’ll never remember this, but for the best view on the site, head up to where the medical centre is at night. It’s above the Big Ground camping area. The site is the size of Bath, and the view and sounds coming from everywhere is incredible.

My top toilet tips....

Always go into one you see a sensible looking girl come out of. It will always be spotless.

The toilets just across the railway line walking away from the Other Stage by Park Home Ground are always surprisingly quiet.

Did anyone manage to get up to anything? I was very ill over the whole week and am only just getting back to normal. Feel a bit annoyed and that I wasted the one week I have off for myself. Still, could be worse; could have rained.
