Would you do less of a hobby if you met someone that didnt have the same interest? That is also one of the reasons why I am single as I like what I do and I am going for it 100%

I don't think I would. I think it's good to have your own interests and time to yourself in a relationship

I wouldn't call that a hobby. That's an addiction

So would I make allowances for someone if I met that someone with different hobbies?

Yes I would as if you are in a relationship its what you do I would hope they would make allowances too though.

It’s good to have time to yourself, but a relationship is a compromise . Plus there would be fun stuff I’d want to do with a partner. Packing kids and work in as well as developing a new relationship would mean it likely I’d have to cut down on a major hobby I expect.

The last guy I had as a f/b had a personal trainer and really into all that - he had a fabulous body but it becomes tedious if you aren't into it.

No, I lived and worked with my ex 24/7, but he played cricket, rugby and golf, and I had up to 8 horses to sort out, so we always felt free to spend a lot of time doing our own thing!

Nope just someone who's honest and not full of bull shit would do for starters. If they happen to be an iron man then wow. I think if you train and eat the same it makes for a healthy relationship

No I think it’s good to both do different stuff but it’s also nice if share

My partner doesn’t play music when I am practicing I hear her singing along is love to get her on stage sometime but know she wouldn’t but she enjoys supporting

I support her as she’s back in uni so help and support to try reduce stress this might mean pushing her go gym to relieve stress

So it’s good had separate stuff but nice to share some also

We both have separate hobbies which give us our own time and space. The beauty is we provide each other with support and encouragement in those hobbies and occasionally actively get involved. Married life would be dull in our opinion if both were identical in our likes and dislikes.

We both have a passion for riding and similar tastes in music so spend a fair bit of time together. We socialise together with friends at local events and have our own interests that we do singularly that we encourage and support each other in.

Sometimes their interests are interesting to you, and vice versa, so you teach other things.

Don't think any relationship is on rails really.

You can only be who you are and if you can,t share that with someone life would soon get boreing you soon find this out in life.

I don't think I could. I spend enough time on my hobby that I couldn't do it with a partner too as I wouldn't want to change my existing commitments. Plus its nice to have your own interests too.
