Is it best to be honest and up front about your marriage status or should you just keep it to yourself and lying about it??

As far as I am concerned it’s best to be honest and up front about it.

It will be great to see what everyone else thinks about it.

Probably better to be honest then people can make informed decisions about wether or not they are comfortable getting involved.

Personally though the majority of my play is in clubs so I neither know, nor care, the marital status of my playmates.

Seriously, I would never take others choice away with deception, to me it’s a value thing, equally I/we have a strong value systems.

Definitely be honest, people should be allowed to make their own informed choices. I wouldn’t want to turn up to a meet to be confronted by an enraged husband who had just followed their wife...

I would be severely pissed off if some one lied about their marital status to me, knowing I don't meet people cheating. Fortunately, so far I've found out before actually meeting them. By not being upfront its disrespecting the preferences of people that don't want to meet them and not allowing them to make an informed choice.

Just had this happen and it was truly shitty. Essentially I feel he got inside my body under false pretences. If I think about it I feel a little ill as I have REALLY strong feelings about this issue.

Please don’t post the ‘block and move on’ response. I have, but it seemed particularly relevant to the thread and I was surprised how strongly I felt about it. We shouldn’t have to be crack investigators to ensure our preferences are respected.

I don't go to clubs but nah I don't think so as I imagine that's a bit more anonymous, and without all the chat beforehand.

I wouldn't say I was upset, more that I felt both guilty on behalf of his wife and pissed off for me as we'd been out in public for coffee/drinks as well as meeting in private and I could've been dragged into some drama when I personally wasn't doing anything wrong. I like things without any strings or drama so I definitely don't want to take on anyone else's
