Seems my humour was missed by some.... ... I'm nowhere near Nottingham and not going... just to clear that up

"U may see us "

Is that like granting a royal seal of approval for viewing you or just announcing a possibility?

I miss goose fair! Fresh mushy peas and mint sauce, a go on the cake walk because it used to be my grandma’s favourite, a ride on the galloping horses, a game on the prize bingo stall and finally going home considerably poorer with some brandy snaps and Grantham gingerbread for my mum and a cock on a stick for me

If its good enough for the goose then its good enough for the gander.

Be careful you dont want to ruffle any feathers.

You might meet a few hens from here but they will probably chicken out at the last minute.

I used to live in Forest Fields. I hated Goose Fair!

I will be going, not sure when though.

I think I've only ever missed going once in the last 40 years and that was because I was working. I don't really bother with the rides - I just love the smells, lights, food and overall atmosphere.

I’ve not been for a few years but being as the weather is forecast to be better than it usually is for it I might venture over. You can’t beat a good ride
