Nope: Apps, contacts and photos are backed up. Passwords are saved.

Get a new phone, set it up, carry on as you were.

A minor inconvenience, at best.

I'm an emergency contact for someone with a life-threatening allergy, so in that context, yes.

Other than that, nope. A would have to take his chances on when tea was ready though...

It would be a very big inconvenience.

I have a message on my lock screen saying I'll reward if I get it back and my home phone number.

Nah I back it up often, I’ll just get a new one. Hope whoever finds it enjoys all the nudes and videos

Somewhere In The Ether…

It would prove a huge inconvenience for me as I use it for so many things throughout any given day (including typing this in fact).

Fortuitously, I took out full cover which states I’d be sent a replacement if it is lost or stolen and have all files backed up on my PC

There and to the left a bit

No biggy for me - biggest pain would be having to buy a new one to tide me over till my contract renews

the right frame of mind -London

I'd start at the wall socket and trace the wire to the phone -usually it's hiding under that towel I left on the floor.

"...would it be the end of the world? "

An interesting question as most will be reluctant to say they would panic though I know I might and it would be more than bloody inconvenient.
