Have any of you guys noticed that their self checkouts are, well, a bit out of the ordinary? Yesterday we went to two and both had machines that had Elvis voice overs. I (he) forgot to put the bag on the weighing scale and it alerted the superviser to my mistake whilst singing 'suspicious minds', wtf!!

The first one didn't have dishwasher tablets. The second visit wasn't planned but their was one nearby when we visited Asda so popped in.

But my local poundland sells clothes etc for over a pound.

I really should have, instead I asked the assistant where they were then asked her if Poundland had had a discount when purchasing the then thought unrepairable Russian hacked self checkouts rendered useless.
