If there was a kit available so you could check prospective meets for STIs etc, would you buy one?

No, because it would still be reliant on taking their word for it that they'd not had sex since their last clean test for the results of such a test to be valid

No, cause I get checked at the start of year, then I know I’m clear for the rest of the year, so there’s no need !

They're free.

So, too, are drop-in clinics.

The latency period of some diseases means that a test taken today should be read as an indicator of your health three months ago.

Getting tested is the right thing to do.

But taking a test five minutes before you have sex is not a guarantee.

Depends where you live - not free in my area but you can buy them on Ebay and Amazon, which I do.
