Artic Monkeys. Went to see them in Newcastle last night and I just don't see what other's do. Thought they were absolutely shite. If the ticket hadn't of been a gift from a friend who is really into them I would of come home.

Way way overated in my opinion

Finally, someone’s said it. I think they’ve always been overrated. Saw them at Glastonbury one year, Chic put them in the shade.

Alex Turner really does think he’s something.

Cardiff

I've never got it either OP. Plus I think the lead singer tries too hard when they are not preforming.

Even the rest of them must think 'shut up ya dickhead, we got the award, let's go and sit back down eh?'

Just around the corner

Me neither. And I also don’t understand how they succeeded, and their Sheffield contemporaries Reverend and The Makers didn’t. They had a few great tunes, and they were good live.

Thinks he's a John Lennon

Not a fan myself, but preferable Oasis or Coldplay.

Arctic Monkeys and reverend and the makers are my 2 favourite bands. I've saw them both live and they are up there in the best nights of my life. Reverend and the makers had the place bouncing. It baffles why hardly anyone has even heard of them x

Hull

I saw them live at Leeds Festival a few years ago and I really liked them. Loved their first album. Each to their own. There’s bands I loath that others rave about. It is what it is

Some good songs, but not my favourites. Never got Radiohead though, awful whining bollocks, much the same with Coldplay.

Northampton Somewhere

I used to think they were ok but looking back I probably only listened to them when I'd been drinking. Not something I'd listen to now!

I agree with the comments re Reverend and the Makers, very underrated!
