Does anyone else have a mystery person who moves items in the house

My son is away on Cub camp this weekend, so I've been pulling together all the bits he needs. However when I came to find his rucksack it's not where I put it a couple of weeks ago when he came back from the last camp. It's not just this; all manner of things go missing; clothes, books and forks (lots of forks).

I'm convinced someone is creeping in during the day and either moving them or stealing them as for the most part it's just me and the cats at home

Does anyone else have the same annoying visitor

" the cats

"

Answered your own question there.

I tell myself that it’s my cat who moves things. It saves me coming to terms with getting older and forgetful

Funnily enough I don't get this happening with the dishes.

They just remain near the sink, waiting for me to come home. They must be so happy when they see me, been there waiting for me all day.

Their probably horrible to my Daughter and that's why she doesn't go near them.

It's you. As we get older we do things and instantly forget we did them.

We found a pair of Mr N's glasses wrapped in a shopping bag, inside another shopping bag at the back of the garage once. I found a pair of eyebrow tweezers that I'd been looking for for over a year inside a container of cotton buds. That Somebody has been very busy.

I blame my 2 cats cos they have thumbs and very good at just taking anything they want.

In my house its called having kids. They never seem to know where anything is and of course they never move anything. Not to mention the fact that when you tell them where something is they can't find it. Yet when you go looking it's exactly where you said.

This happens to me all the time. I live alone so it’s no one else moving it. It could be the calculator in the office one day or a deodorant can the next.

I’m convinced that the place is haunted, it creeks a lot during the night and the cleaner is convinced she saw someone walk passed her one day when the place was all locked up.
