FabSwingers.com forum: What's Butlins like?

I suggested to a friend we go billing aquadrome, as IV been before and it's generally a good laugh. he doesn't want to sleep in in a tent thus recommending Minehead Butlins instead.

What's it like for younger folk? 20-30s would I look out of place. Even though I get along with older people, IV noticed they do lots of 80s-90s event's I like UB40 etc..

But having said that don't want to be listening to dead or alive. You spin me right round...

Used to work at Butlins minehead in my youth..

It was a hotbed of sex and debauchery..

And that was just the staff

We are split between the shiiine Weekender 16th-19th Nov Minehead

Or cream Weekender 7th 10th Dec Minehead.

There's also a abiza legends Weekender in Jan hmmmm

My parents took the family to Butlins many many years ago. I think I would be around 8 or9. . . We renamed it Butlitz. . . My dad became a member of the escape committee !

You'll be scared for life. There are some things young people shouldn't see.

Camp in a tent in a field somewhere . It will save you a tonn of money but your accommodation will be the same and the entertainment just as exciting!

Myself and a group of other fabsters went last year to bognor for an 80's weekend, we had a blast!! The accom was quite decent tbf, the entertainment was Ok and although we are in the older age bracket, there were a lot of younger groups there too, all seemed to be having lots of fun... I would definitely go back - 90's weekend was good too, I went there on a hen weekend, with a group of 'youngsters'

(I blend in with local wildlife and declare Thanks rabbit!)

(Bounces back) home and decides to continue been a rabbit for the rest of the day adleast untill the drugs wear off!
