Hi all- I’m toying with the idea of getting a PT. I worked with one before, for a year and a half, and he was awesome! I had loads of fun and he helped me achieve what I wanted to achieve. The only thing is- he ran classes at my gym, so I already knew I liked him and his way of working before he became my PT. He’s moved out of the area so I can’t go back to him- I don’t really know where to start with looking for a new PT. Can anyone give me any tips please?

Hi Daisy

At my old gym there were several PT on the staff so I booked direct with them. At my current gym there are no PT but when i asked I was told that they have a list of preferred PT who are affiliated to the gym. I’d ask a member of staff at your gym as a starting point.

Thank you for your advice- tbh I would really like to look outside of my gym. I’m really looking for advice about how to search for and match myself to a PT outside of the gym environment xx Dx.
