Mine's gotta be anything with spinach, watercress and beetroot in it with just a little olive oil! What's yours?

Like most salads but prefer spinach based to lettuce. I like a salad with some hot things - prawns or char grilled chicken, thinly sliced rare roast beef or salmon. Love avocado and big beef tomatoes - they have so much more flavour and won't eat a salad if it doesn't have French dressing on it and if going all out I'll have some croutons too.

Anything with a good colour combo in it, but not tomatoes. I wish I liked them, but I don’t.

Maybe a bit of mayo, but often just bare, or pepper and lemon.

Alas, I find myself dodging salads at the mo. Apart from mixed bean mexican kinda salsa salad. Basically anything with lettuce or any kind of green leaves in is no longer appealing for some reason. Must be that summer has ended or something like that.

Oh I love salads. Iceberg lettuce, cucumber, raw onion, mild chilli & lemon infused prawns or salmon, avocado, Clarence Court boiled eggs and balsamic. Often preceeded by homemade soup and followed by a cup of Yorkshire tea if I'm at home.

Then I fall asleep
