"What's your diet generally like? That's a big part of it" Very good tbh mostly home cooked fresh meat and veg and no fried foods. Not to say I don’t have the odd bacon butty but it’s usually Greggs so that’s baked not fried. Any stir fry is 1 cal fry light cut the fat off meats and avoid processed food.

"You can do 1000 sit ups, it wont look any different. Its all in the diet and portion size Fastest way to do it *quit booze (or just drink one night aweek) *quit fizzy drinks (swap fizzy for orange cordial) *reduce portion size ( its better to eat every few hours in smaller amounts than eat 2 big meals) *learn to eat slower (you will be amazed how you quickly you become fuller before your plates empty) *dont be afraid to leave food on your plate. *drink water/squash when you get peckish instead of a snack (our brains can misinterpret food hunger/drink hunger) *cook fresh, eat less fruit (common mistake people make when dieting is overloading with fruit/sugers) *by lean in 15 book its great quick easy and tasty to cook from *love porridge (great fat burner) *dont drink sugar free drinks.. aspartime in diet drinks ae very depressive *keep a balanced diet have a takaway day dont cut out those naughty foods. Hope this helps bud" Cheers for that pal! I don’t drink alcohol and don’t have fizzy drinks too often probably once or twice a month. I may have to try the little and often as tbh I usually just have breakfast and tea. Porridge I love so will definitely eat more. Milk or not to milk though? Thanks guys it’s been a graft to lose what I have but I know I can loose the rest as I have an incentive soon as I feel happy with the result then we’re off for our first club!! Alex is fine it’s just me letting the side down atm but not for long! PMA!!! AJ

"So I’ve been on a weight loss mission and upto now lost 2.5 stone!l since Feb, Arms and legs are toning and moobs are going down but I just can’t seem to shift the belly! It’s massively shrunk but anyone got tips on toning and muscle definition. Seems to be a lot harder at 40. AJ " Your body is holding far more fat than you think And it is lost from all over your body For the average 5 foot 10 chap you have over one and a half square meters of skin 1 cm per m squared equals about 8 kg Some areas will look tighter more quickly than Others but it still takes a long time I dropped to 8 percent body fat this summer for almost six weeks I could not see any difference in my stomach area however realised that my leg skin was becoming thinner also don't under estimate how much fat is above your hips at the rear and how much your arse carries I will 're iterate almost no one realises just how much fat their body contains , and at a sensible loss rate of 300 cals to the negative daily and 8000 cals ish to the kg it takes a while to lose what you really did not realise is there So when you think you have lost a fair amount and you're still losing a kg or two a month realise that a kg is about the equivalent of one mm across your entire bodies surface skin area If you pinch over two inches that's 25 mm of fat (skin doubles over , and skin wit.out fat is really really thin trust me ) So weight loss can take years on a daily calorie deficit which is psychologically draining thus most people cannot sustain what is required. My advice Forget your weight Forget toning Do think muscle maintaine Do think eat balanced diet of whole nutritious foods Do think exercise for both heart health muscle and bone strength. Xxx

"I'm not a gym guy either but my greatest losses around the middle were after deliberately replacing bread with things like crackers and crispbreads. Cutting down on cake and biscuits helped too. I will never lose it completely as I like my food too much.. " Bread is my Achilles!!!! I love bread! I have to walk down the bread isle in a supermarket just for the smell! Lol AJ

"Leg raises " Seriously do not do leg raises for almost everyone they are pointless ! What they actually do is , One place tension on the abdominals , but not enough to do much Two as you lift the leg you are actually using your rather small hip flexors I say small in the respect they don't consume much energy Ok so a tiny bit of isometric work on your abdominals and hard work on your tiny hip flexors Most people have weak long glute muscles , your ass If you work strengthen and shorten for no purpose your hip flexor with weak glute muscles then you create a hip in balance leading to all sorts of problems as you age And they won't help your fat problem or health one bit x

" Chip baps and kickboxing That I can do! Lol Aj " But seriously fat burning cardio, ask the man at the gym the best setting for the bike machines, the rowing machines and the cross trainer / ski fuckin things. Point for the wise, rowing machines are often behind the cross trainer / ski / step ass exersiing machines all the ladies love.

"I like you have dropped much weight (3 stone since January), core work is what you need I’m currently running 3 tes a week, swimming and also a trampoline based boot fit workout twice a week.. " According to your op core work is NOT what you need You need a calorie deficit ? Core work is exceptional for health and agility however to lose belly fat it it a waste of your time! Honestly the best combination for fat lose and body health is good diet and either , swim , cycle or row Really really, really really is that simple , everything else is either niche. Specialised , or fad Based upon the op You need patience do exactly what you have done , bear in mind whatever you have done diet wise you need to be more strict and whatever you have done exercise wise you need to do more as your body has now adapted Ignore all specific body part training advice or specific food advice If you have lost two stone you will have a lower metabolic rate You will need to A , eat less calories than yesterday B, burn more than yesterday How you do that is Whatever methods enable you to meet your goal consistently and by default keep you happy xxx Ps I recommend you use dark chocolate from time to time xxx But if you hate that other drugs and cheats are available , I use chillies xxx

Doing sit ups will only make it look bigger as the muscles grow behind the fat. I read your diet sounds okay. Loosing weight isn't a fast thing unless you go on an intense diet then just have patience. It's coming off as you said. Loosing weight and toning at the same time us very hard to do. I'd loose the weight and then tone maybe. Lexi
