reading

we are thinking of going away this weekend but cant decide where to go were not planning on going to any swing clubs more going for a change of scenery do some shopping go for a meal or maybe some bars etc we were thinking of somewhere like blackpool. where would u choose?

I'd aviod blackpool if you wanted a nice weekend. If its a d*unken bar crawl your after however Blackpool may be your place!

To me its always been somewhere to go for groups of girls / lads .... never as a couple in my opinion.

I certainly never enjoyed it when i went with my ex.

Chester below isnt a bad shout but you will probably find somewhere a bit nearer unless your not fussed about travelling

Why not hop on a train to London? I used to when I lived in Calne. The big city will be a great place to visit if you want diversity and fun.

Blackpool

im from blackpool but its not a bad place and the shopping is quite good you would get a good deal on a hotel as well and theres plenty of bars and nice places to eat

York, Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham for city centre shopping and bars.

Whitby or Llandudno for the seaside

South Lakes if you fancy a walk in the country and getting back to a log fire

everywhere is feckin windy and cold at the mo

besides, nowt like a walk up the great orme in winter to blow the cobwebs off
