Now though, courtesy of a fashion snowball started by one or two media personalities several years ago, we have had, “oooooh, beards... hot!” rammed down our throats on a regular basis.

As it ever has been, film, TV and the press dictate what we are meant to find attractive and we gobble it up like mindless ruminants.

I wonder how many years it will be before sporting a beard once more is seen as a distinctly unattractive feature to the fairer sex?

There is a lot of truth in this, though 10 years ago my beard would have been very fluffy

Apart from those of us that have always been attracted to beards, especially those of us who grew up in the 70’s.
