Should eyebrows have corners?

Your thoughts? Every so often I get mine threaded, plucked, brushed, trimmed and wiped with rose water. 10 minutes of pain and they look very slightly sleeker but somehow I look several years younger. Brow pencil and corners feels quite advanced though.

How do you train your brows? Do they have corners? At what age are you too old for corners?

I don't even know what an eyebrow corner is

I fill mine in with eyeshadow, remove the colouring over the lines, and call it good.

I just razor the stragglers off every few days, then every day I draw the tail ends on as they have gone, color in the edges and that's it.

I'm not sure what you mean by corners though.

I’m genuinely interested in people’s eyebrow maintenance habits.

By corners I mean the sharp corners drawn or tattooed on at the inner end of the eyebrow. These are quite often given definite square shaping currently.

I think op is on about these brows that look a little like the tick logo but upside down? Mine wont go like that either. But after watching loads of tutoriols its all about the "sculpting" basicly put your eyebrows on first then carve them in with foundation to give that sharp sleek appearance. Im still shit at doing mine though

Oh, I'll get mine waxed or threaded before a big thing like a job interview or a wedding, and I don't always bother filling them in. But mine are of fairly average size (neither sparse nor caterpillars), dark naturally, and are only sparse if I'm being really critical (and even then only in parts).

I don't understand these modern eyebrows. All that taking them off to draw them back on?!?

I always remember being told eyebrows are sisters not twins, they don't need to be identical they should follow the natural curve of your face.

Your eyebrows should flatter your own individual face shape in as natural a way as possible in my opinion. Corners? I'm not quite sure what you mean but my instinct says no

So im goung out with the girls gets ready puts my lashes on. Night goes on im getting a little tipsy and dancing away.

A guy approches me. Excuse me love (i hate that btw). I say yeah ( thinking he is guna chat me up).

He then says.

Your eyelashes are stuck to your cheek.... i replied oh are they stick back on my eye then mate hahahhaa

After over plucking as a teenager and being left with hardly none I had to have them tattooed on.

It’s far from me to tell anyone how they should look, but blimey there really are some crimes against eyebrows out there at times aren’t there!? Ladies - what ARE you (well some of you, anyway!) doing to them!?

And don’t even start me on fellas with shaped eyebrows!

I’m going to be a bit hypocritical here as my eyebrows have got bushier as I get older so they get the odd trim to out the wild stragglers but definitely no manscaping here!

Ive seen those done quite a few times, you need a thin line round the edge and then to just gently sit it on top practice a bit more and you will have lush lash galore

I’m not a big fan of some of the fashion looks of eyebrows these days but as long as people like what they see in the mirror then it’s all good

My eyebrows are naturally straight so in order to get the arch in which I love, I pluck mine into a certain shape and then shade them with an eyebrow liquid liner and pencil.

I also use Vaseline on certain parts of them every night to make the hair grow thicker (it also works amazingly on eyelashes)

Will practice again this week. Just getting them in the vicinity of my real lashes would be a win.

Or eyebrow fashions changed. Rihanna’s started wearing hers micro thin. If that takes off those people with the thick tick shapes tattooed on are going to be buggered.

** My infi on Rihanna’s eyebrow shape may well be out of date already.

There are some that are enhanced with castor oil which nourishes the roots and encourage growth (I swear by castor oil when it comes to my hair) and I think MAC have two items in their range that have castor oil, there’s an eyelash primer and a mascara

I don't know about growing, but I read something about a mascara with a long term tint in it so you can have a slightly more polished look on days you don't want to wear any. I think it might have been Rimmel?

There are quite a few brands that have that quality. It’s a sensitive dye that lasts around 30 days.

I used to be a stage performer and if I had a long run on a show, I would use that and semi permanent lash extensions so I wouldn’t have to spend twenty minutes perfecting my lashes in seven shows a week

No, these are out now, fortunately. I’ve never been a fan. They will of course continue to live on, in the same way I still love 90s eyeliner
