I would go with:

Starter - king prawn cocktail

Main - fillet steak served with a chunky tomato salsa and sweet potatoe wedges.

Sweet - waffles with hot chocolate sauce and ice cream.

Start with homemade ravioli stuffed with butternut squash, caramelised onion and goats cheese with a light cream and shallot sauce

Main is pork medallions with a calvados sauce, crispy roast pots and seasonal veg

Dessert is trio of Creme brûlée, milk choc mousse and mango sorbet served on a shortbread biscuit

Followed by coffee and hand made petit fours

Mmmmmm, whos hungry?

Home made pea soup with chunks of ham shank (gotta be with fresh chunks of white loaf and lashings of lurpak)

Plate pies - steak & ale or cheese & onion with home cooked chips deep fried in beef dripping (none of this dry fry nonsense)

Manchester Tart - with vanilla ice cream, custard or fresh cream (or all 3 if ya want um)

Don't come here and expect to be able to move after dinner
