"now... some of you know that my secret musical weakness is that i liked a bit of the old "chas and dave" and got mocked for it every so often so its with sadness that i head that "chas" has died this morning.... the kings of cockney rock....." Wow gutted just found out from reading this...legends and cockney rock is a great term... from Totenham to Memphis...great British Blues musicians who don't actually get the credit their talent deserves... that old Piana..very sad.

"Great session men as well as great Rock’n’rollers Played on many hit records in the 60’s including Telstar. Chas Hodges will be missed" Very sad news. He was with The Outlaws from 1961 to 1964, and Cliff Bennett & The Rebel Rousers from 1966. RIP big man.
