Tired in the middle of the day but the kids are being noisy?

Tell them you are going to nap on the sofa and for them to wake you up in 30 minutes so they can all help tidy up.

The kids will do literally anything to stop you waking up.

Any other parenting life hacks?

Lol I like it.

My life hack, make sure both / all parents in the family communicate. Kids have a way of playing "he said / she said very well."

Also, if you make a "threat" (ie tidy your room or no internet, etc.) Make sure you're prepared to follow through with it.

Boarding school for when your child reaches their teenage years. If only I could afford it! lol.

Best way to punish a mouthy teenager, either place a password lock on the Wi-Fi modem box, take it out and hide it or take it with you whenever you go out.

I'm sure my teenagers aren't the only ones who run out of phone credit or just mobile data quite quickly. Best punishment I've found.

As a single dad of a 13yr old girl many years ago, I suggested she had 6 friends over for a sleepover on a Sat night, One night of chaos

But then had 6 sat nights free for fun as they all took turns to host a sleepover.

this worked for many years.

EBay is no good. They keep growing so it comes under the "miss representation of weight and or size of livestock."

Try Etsy. You made them, there for they are home made and saleable on the craft site...

Not that I'd know with my little darling angles of course. And they are so helpful round the house too.

It'd be a shame to loose any really but if somebody else needs help around the house... Well what's a guy to do...

Play real music to very young kids.

My youngest inflicted three years of nursery rhymes on the the car stereo. My second started life loving the Beatles and the Pogues (simple tunes).
