well i was thinking if there super markets are close like around town here its good value , Myself i feed about 25 and i hate to think of the cost. Just i know money is tight for some and soaring food prices dont help at xmas when people are spending on gifts and i hate thinking people and family missing out . Mothers to blame for giving me the christmas Good Hpusekeeping book , lol this food was tried and tested and i know thay are very pickey when it come to food and drink even value things . xxx

bet some of it tastes like crap though!! and if tesco's & other supermarkets rotten tasting fruit and veg is anything to go by (which rots within days) wouldnt chance it!!

Goto a decent farm greengrocer to buy your veg and spend the rest on buying some decent turkey from a farm which looks after its animals!! cost will be little more than above, but prefer and sure your guests will something tasty!!

These days I only eat decent fresh food that I know where it comes from.

my food bill is now alot less as dont buy crap i dont need by avoiding supermarkets as much as possible, and throw out very little food by not overbuying.

Alot of people throw away 30% of what they buy as goes out of date!! the curse of supermarkets!!

im sure the cost issue is a factor but its christmas day, and with planning everyone can spend a little less on crap presents and more on decent food!!

Bugger I just bought carrots for a quid in Iceland and thought that was a bargain

Turkey drumstick £1.20 (when Asda have them) plenty of meat and you don't have to eat it for a week

So where is the best buy for petit pois peas then? Iceland £1.50 and Asda £1.60
