They're essentially characters, so I guess they do have genders and sexual orientations (wasn't Kermit knocking off Miss Piggy).

First thing I thought when I heard the story was Kermit and miss piggy pretty certain they d been given an orientation .

Why are we getting into these conversations, but, yes, a puppet could be gay. Why not?

And yes, they’ve probably not got a sexuality, because they’re puppets and not real people, with feeling.

Yes it would be wrong. We don't need kids being brainwashed by adult politics. Kids watching that show don't give a flying fuck about sexuality and don't need to. Some people can't let kids by kids without shoving a gender fucking unicorn in their face. You don't see swingers saying "oh we need a swinging couple on that kids show so kids know that non-monogamy is totally normal".
