I am liking the new(ish) thingy me bob of hiding your friends list as i feel its no bugger elses business who i am friends with.

Just wondering everyone elses opinion on what a friends list means to them...

Do you add everybody you talk to???

Do you delete on a regualr basis if they dont talk to you.

Why do you display/not display you list.

i add if they ask if they dont talk i take them off feel if they a friend then they should talk i do!! i dont display i like privacy and no one business whom is on mine!! i do clear my friends list every month or that x

We only add couples to our friends list if we:

Have met them,

Like their profile and would love to meet them,

And they also have pictures.

We also keep the list private, as we also feel our friends are our business.

No I don't add everyone I talk to

I do delete,especially if you've just added them and then they promptly dissappear.

I don't display, cos like you feel it's no one elses business who my friends are

I add people to mine who message me but only show face pics in their private gallery. I keep the people I've met on mine too.

only have friends who I intend on meeting or have already met, I keep it private so they cant be contacted by others through me.....

We keep our friends list private because it has nothing to do with anyone else

Some people make judgements based on silly things like friends list,I would rather they make they make their own minds up rather than assume what we must be like because of a friends list

I keep my friends list private, and the only people that are on it are people ive met and keep in touch with or people im chatting to with a view to meeting. If us single females added everyone that invited themselves the list would be as long as my arm of total strangers!

That's a point, I might hide mine as it's rather paltry. Not a great many members from my neck of the woods.

I use to display my frineds list... never really thought much of it. I have friends who are not on it as we chat more on msn/pnone and I have people on it who I wouldn't say are friends... but I have spoke to and like a good perve every once in a while. I tried to keep it from getting cluttered and often deleted people I knew I wouldn't be in contact with again.

I now have my list hidden as some guy I had been talking to about meeting decided to contact the couples and single fems on it saying "Hi I am a friend of polo's.... blar blar blar.... and she can vouch for me"

As this was not the first time someone had used my list as an easy search tool, I removed it from view.

This happened to me from a couple i had verified. And i aktually spoke to them til they kept bullying me for piks, when i spoke to my couple about them, they were really upset about it. So where there is a will there is a way."
