"I love Autumn, the chance to pull out the cosy jumpers again from the wardrobe, wearing boots again. We've had a great summer but my favourite time of the year will always be Autumn/Winter " Agree with that! Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.

"I love the sunny autumn days such wonderful colours. I also love my sheepskin slippers, more than happy to get those out again instead of flipflops " But you’ll miss those long summer evenings in the park?

"In my case I sing in a choir and our new season has just started. Four lovely concerts to look forward to between now and next summer. The secret to enjoying Autumn and Winter is to find something different to do. " Wanna buy a 2,999 piece Jigsaw of Jupiter? I think there's a red piece down the back of ma sofa.

"I'm gonna miss wanting to walk yo work. It's a 45 min walk, but there are days I like to plug my music in and catch some sun on the way if the temperature is just right. I'm gonna miss not needing the heating on, as my house is pretty much an ice box all year round. I'm gonna miss not having muddy paw prints, and being able to leave the back door open for the pooch, rather than her getting me up every 5 mins to open the door, realising it's pissing down and just fucking standing there sniffing the air, not wanting to venture out even though she needs a piss. I'm gonna miss not needing to leave the light on for the dog coz it's still light when I get home from work. When it's wet, windy and cold I don't even like to leave the house these days! I do like Halloween, the colour of the leaves and cinnamon candles. I get reminded this time of year that I'm alone on my birthday, Xmas for me is all about work and making sure other people get their merry Christmas, that as far as the general public are concerned, I don't matter - my family and my Xmas don't matter. Rather than the season of good will, it's the season of selfishness... maybe that's me being selfish in wanting to see my own family and have a 'proper' family Xmas instead of a phone call as I'm on my way to work. "I love Autumn, the chance to pull out the cosy jumpers again from the wardrobe, wearing boots again. We've had a great summer but my favourite time of the year will always be Autumn/Winter Agree with that! Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. " Another autumn lover here. I lived in LA for a while and sunny weather, though of course lovely, gets a bit boring after a while. I'm a temperamental poet-like soul. So a beautiful blustery day can really speak to me. Boots on. Tramping through the wilds foraging for chanterelles and berries. Then the cold finger of winter slowly casts its shadow across the land and all turns to a still silence. Beautiful!
