Some people do that is their thing they might think sticking needles into your body and injecting ink which is there for decades is a dam stupid thing to do but some people do it all the same.

We escape to a barn in the Cotswolds, let the owners provide the tree etc.

Not really a fan of the day but love the season.

It’s been ruined since it became commercial.

It has always been commercial in my lifetime...having bee a shop girl in a former life, the horrible sinking feeling of walking into a warehouse full of cartons of boxes of individual christmas decs that have to be sorted, checked & priced, on my first day back in August from my summer holiday stays with me still. Stayed in bed most of that Xmas day...family not impressed...

Need to get my daughters birthday out the way, then Halloween then bonfire night and then I can think about Christmas. Although I have already bought my mums main Christmas present and I've also been picking bits up and I'll admit I have wrapped stuff and put it away in the loft!
