So what's your favourite computer game ending?

This was inspired by Just Peachy's film finale thread.

MDK: you get a 3 minute B&W French rap video by a female singer, dressed in a silver outfit and welding googles. This is where you finally get to see the face of Kurt Hectic (the character you've just been playing).

Youtube MDK/BZK Billy Z kick. (All this whilst Tomb Raider was flavour of the month)

Starwing (Starfox): Such a beautiful ending. Everything you have blown up gets a chance to showcase itself in full glory, name and dimensions are on show as well. Tommy Tallarico's EPIC with full synthesised string orchestra hammers out of the speakers, with a massive sense of triumph! Then the names of all of the game's creators are zoomed in with light echoes, hover in the centre of the space backdrop and move out of the way for the next member of that amazing scene.

Youtube MDK OST and Starwing ending. (Yes, Starwing owes everything to that little sci-fi tale, that Mr G.Lucas got rich from a certain toy deal...)

The 1990s were a good decade, for games like this

"Resident Evil 3. Goodbye Raccoon City "

Can you believe it but I've never played this title, so I just watched it on BING.

Was that the ending you hoped for?

It is good to see games getting cinematic ending, as a reward for the time spent playing the damned thing and finally getting through that impossible level.

Battlefield 4.

You either let her kill herself or do it again and save her.

It gives you two amazing guns to use in multiplayer

As a kid you get to the shinra building and you think you got near the end..

Or I did...

Took me years before I was old enough to go beyond that curtain into the open world.

I still haven't defeated emrald weapon.

You should see what I do to Mario.

I know, I know. I meant I know the ending from my brothers who are a lot better at completing video games.

When they finally release the remake I can see me cancelling a few thingthings and getting lost for a day in it.

"Cod infinate warfare... Something about it just rounds the whole game off"

I do agree with this, gives the same feeling as mass effect, like you have actually saved the solar system

Death standing is the one I wait for.

Fallout and elder scrolls have joined the micro transaction club.

I'm on ff14 atm.

Halo 3 was good.

Finished Far Cry 5 both endings. Left me feeling weirdly unsatisfied but was a great game and if the ending leads to a direct sequel then it will be awesome.

Fallout is only using micro transactions for cosmetic items you unlock in endgame there’s no pay to play
